BIKE BROTHERS

In many countries the bicycle is still perceived as a poor-mans vehicle, something you do not want to be seen on. The many advantages – a cheap, green, fast and relaxed way to move around town – evaporate. As one of the densest and flattest countries in the world, Holland has a long tradition of using bikes for transportation means. Even our royal family rides them. It has nothing to do with income status but with joy and comfort. VANMOOF is an ambitious young Dutch company that originated out of love for bicycles and hunger for change. Simplistic design, brave entrepreneurship and innovative details is what VANMOOF describes. Spreading Dutch tradition around the world is what VANMOOF does.

As seen on Getaway's segment "Melbourne staycation": Back on the ground, cycling is also a wonderful way to take in a city's sights. Melbourne is flat, so it's a lot easier on the cyclist. The Humble Vintage has a fantastic selection of classic and vintage racers, city bikes and ladies' bikes for short-term rental.
They are now renting Amsterdam's Vanmoof "Dutch-style bike". They are creating such a stir in the Netherlands and are as striking as any of the vintage gems on offer at The Humble Vintage.
The sleek, simple and practical bicycles have a brushed alloy frame complete with Brooks leather saddle, three-speed internal gear system and integrated solar powered front and back lights.
