Some memories ago URBAN Bicycles was born out of the love for the urban culture and admiration for the bicycle as a simple, efficient and powerful mode of transport. URBAN Bicycles is a subculture company, built upon a foundation of quality, liberation and lifestyle.
It all started when a tall Dutchman by the name of Meindert moved to the sunny shores of Australia in 2008. On his arrival he went to buy a bike (as most Dutchman do) he was after a stylish, high quality urban commuter to get around town and to the beaches on the weekend but he was not spoilt for choice when all he was surrounded by where mountain and road bikes.
